Do different societies have different views on what a hero is?

"The Universe is wider than our views of it"

The Divergent heroes of Societies
We live on a planet called 'Earth'. There are seven continents on the Earth, 195 countries, every country has more than 5 states, every state has its own culture, and every culture has an uncountable number of traditions, languages, customs, practices, morals, ethics, history, rituals, observances, institutions and many other things. After this, any question about the existence of the different views, perspectives, ideas, opinions has a simple answer, 'YES' different societies have different views on anything and almost everything, also on what a hero is in the society and its attributes?

Hero, a word of 4 letters but has a different meaning and interpretation for varied soceities. Some societies like America has a very fictitious view on the image of a hero as they are the inventors who rule the world with their creative and out-of-the-box instincts. For societies like these, Superman or Wonderwoman are the greatest heroes of all the time and will continue to do so. Whereas, there are societies like India which is ruled by their great devotion towards the spirituality and their Gods. For the people living in these societies, the spiritual images of GODS are their all-time superheroes.A fun fact that more than 60% of Indian daily soaps are about the heroics of their Deity.

Consequently, Every society has a different view on the meaning and interpretation of the HERO. But nevertheless, that does not mean that people around the world will always continue to have conflicting views. The sole reason for this claim is 'Evolution of Time'. Let me ask you one thing when was the last time that you rode a cart? Or Watched an antenna clung to the television? Or made a fresh loaf of bread?Well, the answer for this would also be different has every society has a different economic, social and a political situation. But, on a majority scale, all these things have been regarded as a 'PAST' or devoted to the 'Old is Gold' kind of sayings. As the environemnt and the time progresses, the views and the opinions on subjects and the topics change. Same is with the reasoning behind 'Heroes'. The credits for this phenomenon to occur is none other than Globalization of the world: The spread of ideas, and their opinions from one state to another through the means of communication like social media etc.

Many reports suggest that more than 45% people of many Asian contries are preferring Netflix or other on-demand video facitlies rather than their 'daily soaps', and there has been an increase of at least 35% on the popularity of the superheroes series like the flash or the wonder woman. The same way, people living in Europe or the Americas have started discovering and researching more about the significance of the spiritual or ethnic heroes of the Asian Society.

With this, I conclude by restating that different societies do have a different view on the meaning and significance of a hero and its objectives. But, nonetheless, due to the widespread wave of globalization people around the globe are getting globalized with the ideas of the different societies and their interpretation of 'Heroes'. In the end, keep rooting for your heroes!!

STAY HEROI!!

Are superheroes result of a failed society?

You might never know that you are a superhero !!! People say that Spider-man is a superhero, Superman is a superhero, Iron man is a superhero, Hercules is a superhero, Thor is a superhero, Krish [ a Bollywood fictional character] is a superhero , Shaktimaan [an Indian fictional character is a superhero], but are they really superheroes or  are they just a fictional image created in front of young people? If I ask this question to a hanky-panky dressed, honest and a sincere young girl or a boy , they would definitely nod their head which means 'a yes' whereas now let's now flip the coin and ask this question to a decent, sophisticated gal, one who is wearing jimmy choo shoes or carrying a coach purse, his/her answer would be "Seriously, are you joking? Of course not, they are just made to entertain us, they are our weekend plans nothing else." Yet if I tell you that the answer given by the young pupil is correct and not of the man or woman on the street . I
